Eternal Egypt: Masterworks of Ancient Art from the British Museum is one of the greatest loan exhibitions ever to have been mounted from the collections of the British Museum. Designed to illustrate the development and achievements of ancient Egyptian art over a period of three thousand years and more, it consists of 144 representative works of diverse type, including sculpture, relief, papyri, ostraca, jewelry, cosmetic objects, and items of funerary equipment.
