Handbook of West African Art

This handbook was originally assembled as a catalogue for use with a special exhibit of West African art shown at the Milwaukee Public Museum in 1953. However, as much of the coverage presents original data or deals with such areas as the British Cameroons on which little has been written, the text was revised with the idea of presenting a handbook that would have both popular and reference value.
